Porosity Models for Large-Scale Urban Flood Modelling: A Review

چکیده

In the context of large-scale urban flood modeling, porosity shallow-water models enable a considerable speed-up in computations while preserving information on subgrid topography. Over last two decades, major improvements have been brought to these models, but single generally accepted model formulation has not yet reached. Instead, existing vary many respects. Some studies define parameters at scale computational cells or cell interfaces, others treat area as continuum and introduce statistically defined parameters. The are considered either isotropic anisotropic depth-independent depth-dependent. underlying flow based full equations approximations thereof, with various resistance parameterizations. Here, we provide review spectrum developed so far for modeling.
